Dean Forest Railway
4 ½ miles of heritage railway from Parkend to Lydney, passing through beautiful woodland. Trains are operated by both steam and diesel locomotive. A gift shop, museum and cafe can be found at the main station at Norchard.
Beechenhurst Picnic Site and Sculpture Trail

Open from dawn to dusk every day of the year, a 4.5 mile trail with sculptures to enjoy along the way inspired by the trees, wildlife and past industry, including a 10 foot by 12 foot stained glass window hanging in the canopy.

An Area of Outsanding Natural Beauty, the Malverns are a range of hills found in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, running north south from Great Malvern. They are 8 miles long overlooking the River Severn valley to the east and the Cotswolds beyond.
